I'm Leyla Tawfik, an interaction designer based in Lugano. Currently, I am working on the product development of Ethafa, an educational kit to teach programming and electronics through playful interactive stories to kids age 10-12 years old.

Leyla Tawfik has a BA in Visual Communication and a MAS in Interaction Design. In 2017, Leyla Tawfik designed Ethafa, an Arduino-based maker kit to teach programming and electronics to Arabic kids (10-12) and introduce them to STEAM education. Ethafa is related to her graduation thesis, and It is currently advancing to becoming a product. Over 2018 and 2019, Leyla worked on several H2020 projects as a Graphic Designer and Communication Assistant. Currently, she is an intern in the content and design team at Arduino (arduino.cc).
